"A perfect way to see a lot of LA in one day. Comfy tour bus, small groups and friendly knowledgeable guides. Free bottled water throughout the day and fruit and juice at time of boarding. The guide and driver gave plenty of commentary as we drove around then gives you some free time to explore several of the stops and tips to get the best from the locations visited. If you only have one day in the city and want to really feel you have seen a lot of what it has to offer then this tour is perfect."

Andreis' review of LA in a Day Tours
We absolutely loved the tour, everything was planned out exactly how we expected and the timing was perfect.
Our tour guide was fabulous! She gave us all the necessary information and answered every question. Great personality and really knowledgable.
I would definitely rate the service as top notch. I work in a service centered job, and can really appreciate when someone goes over and above, they definitely do that. I was shocked they have only been in business a few short years, the tour ran so smoothly I figured they had been around forever!
Definitely check this out, get there early if you're driving since the traffic is heavy and have dinner in the area, it's gorgeous!

Peter H's Hollywood Tours experience
Based upon tripadvisor reviews I booked a tour. This tour could not have been better!!!! Our tour guide was so good I brought back lunch for him at a restaurant he recommended. Our tour guide showed so much enthusiasm it was like we were the first group he took (which we were not we later learned). This is a tour you will enjoy and learn from.

Marie - Los Angeles Tour Review
I researched a few tours on TripAdvisor, but none had such rave reviews for the tour operators themselves and now and I can see why. I was touring with a friend and my two children (under 3). First, Jake was incredibly patient with the children and helped at every stop to take out the stroller and make sure they were safely off-boarded and on-boarded. Second, he was knowledgeable about the area in a way that was interesting and current. Third, he kept a nice pace with the perfect number of stops and perfect amount of time in each place. There is no possible way we could have navigated LA by ourselves to see what he showed us. This is a fantastic tour for anyone who has just 1 day (or a few days) in LA. Highly recommend!
Isiah - Review of A Day in LA Tours
“what great tours.. bus and segways!” For anyone that really wants to see LA this is the tour for you. Sit back, relax and and love it. Tour through all the hot spots in LA and enjoy the sights! The tour of LA was great and i believe the Segway tour of venice beach and santa monica was just as good! I never knew how much a fun a segway was (even though you do look funny). Both of of my tour guides for both tours were great. i was a little nervous at first coming to LA - but this company made me feel very safe and secure. I left my camera on the bus and they hand delivered it later in the night to my hotel for free. It shows the really care.

A great tour, takes in all the LA sites and a bit extra. Kimeko picked us up from our hotel and then deviated to show myself and 2 teenage daughters The Venice Canals. We met up with others at Santa Monica and were greeted with coffee and doughnuts, then went on to Venice Beach. Following this stopped at Rodeo Drive and the farmers market (for amazing fish tacos). Off then to Hollywood spotting lots of celebs homes, Griffith Park (Hollywood Sign) and then Sunset Strip. Definitely one of the highlights of our time in California and because the bus is small you get to know your fellow travelers too. Would do it all again

My husband and I were staying in Palm Springs for a week and decided to take a day trip out to LA to see the main sites. Having only one day in LA, we decided to look for a tour that would show us the most sites. This tour did that and a lot more! Jake was an amazing tour guide!! Very funny and entertaining and played amazing music the whole time (we regret not asking him for his playlist afterwards!). He showed us everything we could've wanted to see and also had so many stories to share about his own personal experiences with stars in the area. His knowledge of the area was also very helpful when we had to take detours due to traffic. He always kept the bus moving and got us everywhere quickly. It was fun to hear some of crazy hollywood stories about the stars and see sites that most tours woudn't tell you about ("this is where Lindsey Lohan crashed her car", "this is where Mel Gibson was arrested for drunk driving"!). Even though it was an action packed day, nothing felt rushed. We had sufficient time to explore Rodeo Drive, Hollywood Blvd and Griffith Park on our own. I still can't believe how cheap this tour is as we would've paid a lot more for it! Even though we only had the one day in LA, we really feel like we saw everything there. I will recommend this tour to anyone going to LA. Thanks for a fantastic day Jake!!

“Book it. Book it NOW! :)”
With only one day to see the LA area, my husband and I decided to book this tour. We looked over A LOT of other tours online, but we found this one to be the most well-rounded. After having now completed the tour, I can attest that it didn't disappoint!
Our guide, Jake, was HILLARIOUS! He was fun, kept the tour upbeat, and made sure to answer any questions we had. A total rock star! The time spent at each stop wasn't necessarily long, however we spent the most time at the places that were most interesting - the grove, the strip, and the Griffith Observatory.
After the tour, we received an email asking for feedback. To which, they actually responded to - you don't see that these days so kudos to them! We're excited to hear that they're looking into providing different tours.
We'd love to book with them again, but wouldn't want to do the one we already did (great general/overview tour). We're hoping to narrow do one in future that appeals to our specific interests - that way, we can spend more time at the spots we'd enjoy most :)
My husband and I were traveling with my sister and 82 yr old Mother and wanted a tour that would allow us to see as much of LA in a day as possible. This was 'the ticket!" Aron was excellent driver and very knowledgeable. We had many many stops that allowed rest room visits continually. This was a concern for us, but was never a problem. The small size of the bus afforded us easy manuverability on streets that the larger double-decker buses could never navigate. 4 of us and 5 others was a nice group with plenty of room for comfortable ride. We loved the tour and Aron took us to places that we requested beyond the regular itinerary. Great time! Picked up and dropped off at Santa Monica Pier! great location and parking ramp right there! Thanks Aron! You R_O_C_K!

Tammy - "This is how tours are supposed to be!"
We had a blast! Kimiko was our guide and she was perfect. She blended knowledge of the area with great humor! She was born for this type of career. The tour is a great value! You get to do so much for so little. We even had a date mix up for our day. The company was so professional and handled it perfectly. You owe it to yourself to see this beautiful area with theses amazing people. The bus is comfortable, the destinations are just what you want, and the price is more than right! ( You will get to see that too!)
Tooling around LA on the Rastabus is a great way to be introduced to LA in a short amount of time. Our guide Matt was a whole lot of fun, and very knowledgeable about the city. You get to see all the main tourist destinations, and some gossip on some of the celebrities who live there. The Farmer's Market is a great place to stop and have lunch, and it is great to start the day in beautiful Santa Monica. If you are only in LA for a short time, this is a really good way to make sure you don't miss anything.

Dale's Los Angeles tour review
A full day tour...This is the best value for tours in LA. I booked this for the first day of my vacation in LA. The tour takes you to the most popular areas... the stars homes, Beverly Hills, Hollywood etc. etc... with stops along the way to get out and take pictures and explore. I had planned a day trip to Beverly Hills, but the stop on the tour was all I really needed ... gave me an extra day on my vacation. The tour is very personable, our guide was witty and there was 9 of us from 4 different countries all laughing and joking. You see the other tours going by, everyone looking like statues with headphones on. I'd book it quick!

"We went on the LA tour with Rastabus and thoroughly enjoyed it. The bus was not jam packed like others ive been on so everyone talked to each other. The guide was knowledgeable and constantly kept us informed on where we were going and info about the place - he also answered any questions anyone had. We pretty much covered all the spots that everyone wanted to see and our driver did ask if there was anything in particular we wanted to see then to just let him know, so that was good. We stopped at each place for just the right amount of time, not too long to get bored but just long enough to see what was needed. The trip lasted the whole day and i would definitely recommend if you are visiting LA."

“Excellent tour at an unbeliveable price”
Our family of 7 (2 adults and 5 kids aged 6-15) had a wonderful time on this tour. We started and ended in Santa Monica and travelled all over the city, with several stops to explore. We visited Venice, drove by the stars' homes, stopped at Graystone, Griffith Park, Hollywood Boulevard, and a lunch stop at the Farmer's Market. Our guide, Kimeko, was knowledgeable, friendly, and entertaining, The tour lasted from 9:45 until about 5pm, and our guide was full of information, yet gave us some time to just take in the scenery, She welcomed questions. And yes, the price was $75. I think that many people may suspect that this tour may be inferior to others due to the low price. The Rastabus is simply a great tour which just happens to be a great deal.

I could go on and on about how great this tour is. We were a party of 9 and ended up getting a private tour with Brian. He was absolute wonderful and showed us parts of LA that we never would have seen or known about if we tried to do it on our own. One of the greatest things about this tour is seeing so much without having to deal with traffic or directions. Griffith park, Rodeo Dr, Grauman's. Farmer's Market, Malibu, so much more and we even snuck in a side trip to the La Brea tar pits. There is no way we could have seen so much on our own.
Absolutely, hands down recommend it and would do it again!
Great bargain and excellent tour. I cannot think of any must-see stops in greater LA that were missed. Our guide, Aron, was patient, knowledgeable and entertaining. He made adjustments to the schedule to personally accommodate the desires of our group. Ours was a very international group representing England, New Zealand and Canada. If you are looking for a quiet tour without interacting with others, this isn't for you. But if you don't take yourself seriously, enjoy a laugh, and don't mind people staring as you drive around in this colorful bus you couldn't make a better choice....click here for the rest....
All in all a most wonderful experience.
